The Chargers of Dassel Cokato had another very season as they posted a 24-4 dual meet record and they earned a final four spot in this very tough section 6AA. They have back from that team four section place winners, including two state qualifiers and seven others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of seven seniors, including six section place winners, including three state tourney wrestlers of which two were state place winners. Look for the Chargers to possibly challenge those dual meet numbers of last season and to make a challenge for a top four spot in the section dual meet campaign. They should also challenge for conference honors too. Dakota Hanson, Kyle Johnson, Tyler Dobmeier and Tyler Irvin will be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Lightning of Annandale/Maple Lake had a great season as they posted 17-8 dual meet marks and a tie for second in the Wright County Conference. Back from that team are seven section place winners including three state qualifiers and six others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of two state qualifiers they should challenge those dual meet marks of last season. Look for the Lightning to make a strong challenge for a top four spot in this tough section 6AA dual meet campaign and for conference honors too. There should be a number of regular season honors earned by this team this season. Jesse Punchocar, Jordan Hanan, Matt Fuller, Alex Couette, Teddy Erickson, Tyler Pipo and Brian Redemske should be their key leaders thru out the season.

Chris Gallus, Derek Buthcer, Chad Booth Caleb Thomas and Mile Hammerlund should be their key leaders thru out the season.

Back from that team are seven section place winners including three state qualifiers and four others with varsity experience. Despite the graduation of four seniors including two state qualifiers one was a state champion, they should make a strong challenge for section dual meet honors and conference honors. The Royals should defend many of those honors earned last season. Joey Stadnick, Matt White, Taylor Neaton, Mat Elsenpeter, Aaron Sweenyer and Ben Hillman should be their key leaders thru out the season.

If their younger wrestlers continue to improve thru out the season they could challenge those dual meet marks. Tyler Jones, Devan Nelson, Ryan Anderson and Derek Celander should be their key leaders thru out the season.

If they get all their experience spread out thru their lineup they should be looking for a pretty competitive season. Stephen, Delwick, Mitch Hartwig, Colt Trebesch and Nate Tesch should be key leaders thru out the season.

This young team could move up in the section and conference standings this season if their younger wrestlers continue to improve thru out the season. Tyler Hebig, Will VanGant, Ben Rogers and Chris Forseth should be key leaders thru out the season.
