The Falcons had another great dual meet season with their 30-3 dual meet mark along with a state runner up spot and West Central Conference dual meet championship. The Falcons will be very hard pressed to improve on those numbers from last season, but look for them to make a strong challenge to defend the honors they did earn last season. Despite the graduation of eight very good seniors including five state qualifiers, three of which were state place winners. They will have back five state qualifiers, including three state place winners and two section place winners. Will have twelve other wrestlers back with a great deal of experience plus one transfer with over twenty wins. Mitch Dunlap, Keith Thell, Taylor Lewandowski, William Sustercich, Sam Keeler, Tyler Jenson and Taylor Rothfork to be their key leaders this season.

NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS

The Wildcats of New London-Spicer had yet another great season with their 18-4 dual meet mark and Section runner up spot and several tourney championships. They might be looking at their best season yet despite the graduation of four very good seniors including three section place winners one was a state place winner. They will have back six section place winners, including one state place winner and two others that surely would have be high section place winners but they suffer injuries just prior to the section tourney. They will return eight others with a great deal of experience too, so look for the Wildcats to surely defend many of those honors from last season and to make a strong challenge for section dual meet honors and West Central North Conference honors. Shawn Hatlestad, Dylan Hanson, Chase Austvold, Ben Henle, Logan Brink and Tanner Tobkin to be their key leaders.

The Lightning of Annandale/Maple Lake had a great season as they posted 17-8 dual meet marks and a tie for second in the Wright County Conference. Back from that team are seven section place winners including three state qualifiers and six others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of two state qualifiers they should challenge those dual meet marks of last season. Look for the Lightning to make a strong challenge for a top four spot in this tough section 6AA dual meet campaign and for conference honors too. There should be a number of regular season honors earned by this team this season. Jesse Punchocar, Jordan Hanan, Matt Fuller, Alex Couette, Teddy Erickson, Tyler Pipo and Brian Redemske should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Chargers of Dassel Cokato had another very season as they posted a 24-4 dual meet record and they earned a final four spot in this very tough section 6AA. They have back from that team four section place winners, including two state qualifiers and seven others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of seven seniors, including six section place winners, including three state tourney wrestlers of which two were state place winners. Look for the Chargers to possibly challenge those dual meet numbers of last season and to make a challenge for a top four spot in the section dual meet campaign. They should also challenge for conference honors too. Dakota Hanson, Kyle Johnson, Tyler Dobmeier and Tyler Irvin will be their key leaders thru out the season.

They do return twelve wrestlers, including five section place winners including one state qualifier. They could challenge for conference honors if their younger wrestlers continue to improve thru out the season. Dillon Kifer, Frank Wiczek, Joe Tuholsky and Bryant Bue should be their key leaders.

The Dragons of Litchfield posted a 10-13 dual meet marks last season, back from that team are five section place winners and five others with a great deal of experience. With the graduation of six very good seniors, including three section place winners of which two were state qualifiers, they will have a tough time improving on those dual meet marks of last season. If their younger wrestlers continue to improve thru out the season they could challenge those dual meet marks. Tyler Jones, Devan Nelson, Ryan Anderson and Derek Celander should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Hornets of Big Lake will have back from their 10-13 dual meet season thirteen wrestlers with a great deal of varsity experience, including a state runner up and on section place winner. They did graduate seven very good seniors including five section place winners so it may be tough to make a big improvement on those dual meet marks from last season, but look for the Hornets to make big strides during the regular season. They could challenge those marks and be a force to be reckoned with by the end of the season. Matt Nelson, Deven Donais and Joe Rothmanner will be key leaders thru out the season.

The Bulldogs are excited about their team this season with the return of eighteen wrestlers with a great deal of experience and the graduation of just one senior. They have back five section place winners and two others with eleven or more wins, so look for the Bulldogs to make improvement on last year's dual meet marks. The Bulldogs could surprise someone at the end of the season as they should be very competitive by the end of the season. Cory Nelson, Jake Toedter, Matt Sadlowsky, Colten Vekved and Mike Soule should be their key leaders this season.
